A new destination for the Fay Archive Testers: six stops in Nepal to discover the lives and stories of workers in this extraordinary country. We met the following along the way: Sherpas Sonam and Onghu – the latter of which has scaled Everest an astounding five times; Dev Tamang, the bus driver who uses the world's deadliest mountain road; and Pema, a researcher at Kathmandu University who dedicates herself to her cause: protecting the red panda.

“It has been an exciting, albeit tough, adventure. From sleeping in -2°C temperatures in the bitingly cold Himalayan climate to riding on elephants across the bamboo forests, this trip helped us learn more about these truly special people and their country,” described Michele Lupi, a member of the Fay Archive team, who, together with English photographer James Mollison, have gathered stories from some of the most remote places in the world.
